Measure the angle, calculate the bisecting angle, carefully adjust the cutting angle on the cross-cut saw and begin sawing: a laborious task indeed. Not with the SYMMETRIC by Festool, however. All kinds of strip material can now be cut quickly without making any calculations – for both interior and exterior angles.

SYMMETRIC SYM 70 compound mitre saw: For perfect skirting boards

Simply transfer angles from the wall to the patented stop system using the precision adjustable square, make the cut and you're done. Exterior angles up to 60° and interior angles up to 68° are possible.
Left and right-handed operation

The compound mitre saw has a symmetrical design so that both left-handed and right-handed users can cut accurate interior and exterior angles.
Angle adjustment

The SYMMETRIC can cut exterior angles up to 60° and interior angles up to 68°.
For perfect dust extraction

The CLEANTEC connecting system with integrated bayonet fitting ensures a secure hold of the suction hose. Suction hoses with diameters of 27 mm and 36 mm can be used.

A firm grip

The stop jaws on the SYMMETRIC can be locked to prevent the set angle from changing while you work. Whether interior angles up to 68° or exterior angles up to 60°, everything stays in the right position.
Clever accessories

The additional feet elevate the SYM 70 workbench to the exact height of a SYS 1 Systainer. This means it can also be used as a workbench and enables long workpieces to be reliably supported.
